“Then he (Rich man) said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him (Lazarus) to my father’s house…” Luke 16:27 “Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men…..”2Co 5:11
We noticed in these above two verses in one a Rich man is praying to send Lazarus as a missionary to tell the horrible condition of hell to his parents so that they may not come to his place and be tormented like him in Hell. In other words, Paul Understood how much the Lord is to be feared; what an object of terror and alarm it will be to stand at the judgment-seat; how fearful and awful will be the consequences of the trial of that day. Therefore he PERSUADE men– endeavor to induce them, by all the arts of persuasion and argument, to flee from the wrath to come.
However, God did not send Lazarus to describe the condition of Hell…but He has revealed to us through the scripture that God wants all men to be saved, and to come unto the Knowledge of the truth 1Tim 2:4
We are called to be His witness to all people without categorizing ourselves as a full time or part time minister. No such words are mentioned when the Great commission given to His disciples but we all are called to be His witness…in various ways we can be involved in His Great Commission. The purpose of this article to challenge you how you can be involved in a ministry to a particular group of people like Muslims the most unreached people of the world. Today missions and missionaries growth has gone up ever before yet very less Muslim people have come to the Lord compare to other faith groups.
We are persuaded to reach Muslims not only the bible describes the horrible condition of hell but even Qu’ran the most Holy Scripture of Muslims honest to all Muslims that in-spite of all their good deeds they are subjected to Hell… It says NOT EVEN A SINGLE MUSLIMS WILL BE LEFT BUT ALL WILL GO TO HELL.
“There is not one of you (Muslims) who shall not pass through the confines of Hell: such is the absolute decree of your Lord.” Qu’ran 19:71
What are we going to do about it?

Since we have friends working in that part of the world I thought you might enjoy reading this:
North Africa (MNN) — The increase in terrorist activity in the name of Islam is actually having a positive affect on the number of people coming to Christ in Islamic nations. According to Partners International, that’s especially true in North Africa.
For security reasons we’re calling our contact Joseph. Joseph works with Partners International in North Africa. He says, “The number of Christians there has grown significantly in numbers, in some countries like 1000-percent. I’m assuming that most of it is because some Muslims are not happy themselves are not happy with what other Muslims are doing.”
According to Joseph, one-on-one evangelism is about the only way to share their faith. He tells us about a man who wanted to know more about Christ. “He took my friend an hour way into the desert where they could be alone and after a couple of hours of listening the guys said, ‘I want to be a Christian.’ And, like him, there are many.”
With the large number of people turning Christ, are authorities putting pressure on Christians? Joseph says, “Not yet. I believe the authorities are staying away from all this. I believe they don’t want to cause problems with the west by targeting Christians. So, at this point we’re sensing more and more freedom.”
Since these are Muslim countries, being a converted Christian is difficult, especially in your own family. “Imagine you are a mother and a father, you’ve converted, you are now a Christian, but it’s difficult and almost impossible to share this with your children. Obviously your children don’t have the same security concerns, so they are going to talk to their friends. And, I believe that’s the most difficult thing for these parents.”
While one-on-one evangelism is the best way to share their faith, Joseph says those opporunities come through, “Holistic humanitarian activities. So, in a sense we are showing our love and that caries a lot of weight.”
Partners International is doing that by drilling water wells, helping disabled children learn to get around and teaching them a trade, building latrines, and providing literacy training. All of these efforts require prayer and financial support.
LAHORE: As the Anglican Communion continues to fight over homosexuality and as church attendance plummets, experts say that Islam is well on its way to becoming the most dominant religion in Europe, according to an article posted on CNSNews.com. Meeting in London this week in their General Synod, leaders of the Church of England continued to debate the role of gay and lesbian priests. This follows another meeting in Tanzania in which Anglican bishops issued an official warning over the matter to the Episcopal Church – the American wing of the communion. Meanwhile, research studies show that church attendance in Britain is dropping precipitously, as well as across the whole of Western Europe.
According to Christian Research, a British think tank, only 6.3 percent of the British population in 2005 attended Christian services on a weekly basis. But while church attendance on the continent reportedly shows a similar decline, the Muslim population has exploded, said the CNSNews.com article. It quoted experts as saying that in recent years, young European Muslims had been returning to the faith which their parents observed only sporadically, becoming much more devout.
Christian Research said that in 35 years, there would be twice as many Muslims in mosques on Friday as there are Christians in churches on Sunday. Europe has seen a wave of Muslim immigration over the last century, and some experts predict they will become the dominant population by the end of this century.
In January, a British government-sponsored think tank projected that Muslims would be the majority population of Germany by 2046.
Brent Nelson, an expert on European Islam, told the Cybercast News Service that it was hard to guess what a Europe with a large Muslim minority would look like. However, he said that unless Christians and Muslims as a whole learned to compromise and live together, there was a danger of a clash between the two cultures. A professor of religious studies at Glasgow University said she thought increasing numbers of Christians would convert to Islam in the coming years. daily times monitor taken from http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2007%5C03%5C04%5Cstory_4-3-2007_pg1_3
So is that why Islam is the world’s fastest growing religion? Must a religion oppress women to attract men? Why do men flock to Islam, while avoiding Christianity? I posed this question to David DeMeo, professor of Middle Eastern and Arabic studies at Harvard. I sum up his response this way:
According to Professor DiMeo, “Islam is a religion that produces results. Islam promises to give you a family immune from divorce, teen pregnancy, drug and alcohol addiction. The statistics bear this out. A man looking to shepherd his family today notices that Muslim girls don’t go around in halter-tops and navel rings and their women don’t watch “Desperate Housewives
“Because Islam delivers what fathers and husbands want for their families, strong men gravitate toward it. Therefore, it becomes male heavy,” DiMeo says.
The professor believes that Islam’s emphasis on responsibility and accountability is attractive to men. “It does impose clear behavioral demands and hold men to task,” he said. “These are primarily in areas that society today bemoans a lack of responsibility - alcohol, sex, parenting, etc. I think this explains why the religion is growing so much among populations that are seen as beset by moral crises in these areas — prisoners, lower economic classes, and minorities
I agree with professor DiMeo. Islam’s unbending moral code, its five pillars and even its reputation for ferocity are attractive to men at a gut level. A man thinks, “Here is a faith that’s going to hold me to a higher standard. Men are dying for this.” Furthermore, Islam appeals to the kind of man who is repulsed by the soft, accepting and relational faith pushed in many churches today
So the question for Christianity is this: Can our faith “deliver” for men without oppressing women in the process?
I believe it can. Here are some ideas
1. A clear mission for every church. Most church mission statements are rambling and non-specific. Men are drawn to clarity and brevity. If they’re going to give up their weekend, they want to know why.
2. High moral standards. Men are looking for a church that’s different from the world they see on TV. This is why conservative churches are growing and liberal ones are dying. Few men are drawn to squishy morals. They want a church built on a firm, time-tested bedrock.
3. Men need help and backup enforcing morals at home. Children today are bombarded with immoral messages. Men feel powerless against MTV, SouthPark and the Internet. Churches should train men how to deal with these situations – how to say no to sin in a loving way.
4. Men need the support of other men. Most churches offer nothing in the way of men’s ministry or small groups. What a tragedy. Although it’s initially hard to engage men in a small group, once they do get involved, they’re usually hooked. Their faith deepens. Their lives change.
We don’t need to put women in burquas to bring men back to church. But we do need to deliver what we promise. Men need to know that Christianity works, at least as well as the alternatives
